Morris Silver
Jeffrey Jewelry was established in 1943 by Morris Silver. In the early years, Jeffrey Jewelry privately handled repairs and custom jewelry work for other jewelers around the city, providing them with accomplished expertise and superior value. The experience Jeffrey Jewelry gained in dealing with these merchants and their customers provided knowledge and background in all types of jewelry repair, replacement and custom designing.

In 1990, the son of Morris Silver, Jeffrey, decided to take the bold step of opening the business to the public. His years of experience working with his father led him to believe there was a niche for custom work and the personal attention that customers were looking for.
Jeffrey Jewelry now offers fine gold jewelry, diamonds and other gem stones to a growing list of satisfied customers, and continues to offer custom fashion pieces as well. An expanding market need for replacement jewelry -a need created by losses due to carelessness, theft or accident -has provided a growth area for the firm.
Insurance companies and individuals experience the personal care and concern only a family business can provide. Pricing is competitive and very reasonable, even considering the extensive experience and dedication to quality found at Jeffrey Jewelry. Low overhead and "buyer-to-market" pricing are two more reasons prices are maintained below those of competitors. In addition the services of a certified gemologist are offered for accurate appraisals and consultation before or after a loss.
In 1991, Dana Silver, the
third generation to move
into the business, began her career with Jeffrey Jewelry.
She completed her Bachelor
of Science degree in Applied Design with an emphasis
on Graphic Design at the University of Minnesota. Dana continues the tradition of family involvement with
Jeffrey's knowledge and dedication to quality custom jewelry, which is the hallmark of
the firm.
