Our History

Jeffrey Jewelry was established in 1943 by Morris Silver. In the early years, Jeffrey Jewelry privately handled repairs and custom jewelry work for other jewelers around the city, providing them with accomplished expertise and superior value. The experience Jeffrey Jewelry gained in dealing with these merchants and their customers provided knowledge and background in all types of jewelry repair, replacement and custom designing.

In 1990, the son of Morris Silver, Jeffrey, decided to open the business to the retail public. He firmly believed there was a niche for custom work, expert repair, and the personal attention that customers recieved from a family based store.

In 1991 the third generation, Dana Silver, began her career with Jeffrey Jewelry. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Design with an emphasis on Graphic Design at the University of Minnesota. Dana continues the tradition of family involvement with Jeffrey's knowledge and dedication to quality custom jewelry, the hallmark of the firm.
